could be a limestone because it's very clean with very little movement, but it's difficult to see from the photo.

look like limestone, and it t even has shell particles in it. The color is custom as well, to enhance the limestone countertops and backsplash.
They are a leathered (flamed) limestone, with a 2" square edge.
Limestone is not as durable as granite, or quartz material. However, the leathered finish does help with the durability. Sealing is recommended once a year. We applied a sealer that did not change any characteristics of this stones color. I seem to be using limestones more and more these days
Is the limestone a durable counter top surface? It looks great - does it hold up well? Do you seal it?
above the stove should the pot filler be? Also, I was born in Escondido! Good to see ur local.
use the limestone from Sonoma as well? I was about to order the cashmere in 2"x4", but I thought I should wait and see if there is a more cost effective option that matches just as well. I have several weeks until my Casablanca tiles are ready so I have a little time to decide. I looked at some travertine
Jerusalem Limestone as Donna pointed out, and the cooking area that you are looking at in this photo is Emporador Dark Marble, Polished, with a 2.25" double ogee edge detail. They both look beautiful, it's true, but as I've mentioned in other replies on this subject, please talk to your stone fabricators
it is limestone in 4x2 tiles. You should be able to source something similar from a local tile showroom. We often use Tile Showcase in the Boston Design Center - good luck!
Thank you Anne! I believe these are 4x2 limestone tiles, but they were sourced by the interior designer. You're best bet
