Can you provide the manufacturer and model number the ceiling fan fixture?
"requires 10 foot minimum floor clearance." Even after I remove the hideous &*^%$# dropped ceiling I still won't have 10 feet. Of course, the "requirement" could be the manufacturer's safety warning to protect careless cooks, not a building code requirement. To have 10' clearance, the ceiling would have

Buy the right vent hood. Vent hoods are rated by the cubic feet per minute (CFM) of air
thus require more powerful vent hoods. Maxxing out the CFMs isn’t always a good thing. For example, a 1,000-CFM vent hood will suck the air from a 10-by-10-by-10 room in about a minute, then will lose suction unless you have an HVAC system or an open window. I am buying a house at the beach with ceilings like this; however, they are purple!! So, I am having them painted white - do I paint it flat or with a sheen to it? I have seen both, not sure which route to go.
dining room is the table between the living room door and the kitchen, so maybe 6x6, and the living is long but narrow, so probably 20' long and only 7-8 feet deep (at most.)

Great ceiling idea! Do you happen to have a section of this ceiling that you could email? Also what did you use around the light housing so it wasn't exposed? Thanks!

What color is the paint on the ceilings? (the blue color)
Could I please have the name of the color used on the ceiling?
I love the ceiling shown here, and wondered if you could provide me with any details as to the material, size of the boards and color. Thanks! Lise
What is the color of the ceiling?
Hello! What period style are crown moldings? What type ceiling planks were used?
Thanks for your inquiry! The ceiling pant color was not within our scope of work and unfortunately we have no further information. We suggest visiting your local paint showroom and they can help you select a similar color. Good luck!
Hello, the width of the wall is roughly 10 ft. Thank you for your inquiry
Sorry it wasn't clear on the exact color of the ceiling and who makes it?

Can you tell me the floor to ceiling height please? Thanks!
are the ceiling at 8 or 9' ? thank you
Based on a standard door height of approximately 6'6", these ceilings look to be 9'. The "beams" of the coffered ceiling would reduce that by about 6", but the rest of the ceiling would be at 9'.
Brigitte, I'm going to say 8 feet, but that's based on memory of the project that was photographed
the project so really can't help you with details on the space. It's about the size of an apartment kitchen, if that helps. My guess would be around 4 feet walking space between the peninsula and the countertop? I have attached another view of that space for you. Hopefully it helps answer your question
Maybe 8 1/2 to 9 feet? Slightly taller than a standard room. Hope this helps.

My husband and I are currently house hunting. I am IN LOVE with tray ceilings. I wanted to know the process of having this type of ceiling put into a home that doesn't already have one. Is this even a realistic option? if it is "doable", how high must the current ceiling be in
IS THIS CEILING PLASTER OR WOOD? IF IT'S WOOD CAN IT BE PLASTER? THANKS!
Can you provide the dimensions incl. ceiling height, please?
The walls are eggshell, ceiling is flat and all trim is pearl.
yes , Love the ceiling !!!!!!!!!!!
Love the room and would love this ceiling but in a bigger and much higher room. The ceiling is way too much overwhelming for this interior.
This is a coffered ceiling vs a tray ceiling. A carpenter would "beam" out squares using 2x6's. He would then overlay this with 1 x 6 pine. A crown moulding would then be applied to the inside of all boxes. Everything gets primed and painted. You must have at least 9 foot ceilings for this to work

Can you tell me more about the starry fiber optic lighting ceiling tiles? Where do you find something like that? That is the perfect size and I like the fact that seems mounted on the ceiling.
how tall is the ceiling in this room?
15 feet deep (to the sofa) by 26 feet wide. The stage (where the video screen is located) contains several deep drawers for storage of pillows and blankets. We also designed and built the bar in the far back corner of the photo. The entire basement space is approximately 30 feet wide by 65 feet long
Yes, we sell the star ceilings. They are typically called “starfield” ceilings. There are several different kinds. They are attached directly to the existing ceiling and have a random pattern of white fiber optic lights. This particular model comes
