A kitchen designed to be functional for 2 cooks to work simultaneously.
About 7'x4' for the island itself and another 2' or so for the little table at the end. We designed it to let two people cook at once, the cutout lets the second person reach from the other side and also puts the cook outside of the circulation path. Works great, they love it.
It is cork. I believe a sheet good rather than tiles.
