Love the xeriscaping! That's totally what I have in mind, thanks for the visual groveraxle! Now I have something to show my honey! The charcoal looks good!

I guess I'm the only one that likes the stone? I think definitely get rid of the yellow, but keep the stone and find a way to complement it. The siding could be a darkish grey, the door could be a pop of orange or turquoise. I also like what both people did with the photoshop comps here.

THERE, FROM OF, THE DUST

Grasses once
Did rule the land.

Then corn and wheat
Did take a stand.

As man put land unto the plow.

And prairies,
Hid,
Then as now.

But soon will come a passing,

As all things
Surely must.

And soon again,

Grasses
Will grow,

There,
From of,

The dust.

I love red! But also consider replacing the 2 columns, they need to be fatter and round and also add a hanging lantern or 2 mounted lanterns on each side of the door.

Absolutely lovely! So warm, bright, tasteful, and welcoming. Looks like it could be a "forever home." And those tall ceilings are incredible! Giving me ideas for my own rental. Do you have a source for that amazing photograph in the living room, of the three men?
