to know about the rug - where is it from & the exact name. Thanks!
to be about 9" wide, making the mantel legs about 12" wide and header about 12" tall (it does look like the legs and header are the same size). It appears that the mantel legs and header are about 2" deep (or thick), and it looks like the moulding is about 3/4" tall making it probably about 3/8" deep
header about 2 3/8" deep. Adding 38" for the height of the fireplace opening, 9" for granite, 12" for the mantel header and another 5" for the crown moulding and header, I'm guessing the whole kit-and-caboodle comes to about 64" off othe floor. Assuming a 42" wide fireplace plus 18" of granite, 24"

advice about lighting. Should I do two 24" chandeliers like you used or should I go with 3 smaller (15") lights? I think three 24" would be way too much because it won't allow for much space between them. Thanks for the advice, this is my most favorite kitchen I've ever seen!!
size for us. Could you possibly tell me the dimensions?

Hi there. The ceilings are 9' and the cabinets go to the ceiling so of you deduct crown, cabinets from floor to counter and backsplash the uppers are about 47" high. Please follow us on Houzz

questions about...he was from Ikea about 5 years ago.
at Ikea about 5 years ago and sadly they don't sell them anymore...but I have seen them on eBay a couple of times recently
glass is about 1/2 inch thick and held together with aquarium adhesive.
reminds us of both Shabby Chic and farmhouse. It surely represents the best of all worlds. It’s strikingly personal, interesting and storied, and it doesn’t even hint at “hands off.”
Everything about cave dear diary is great! Love it all!

tell me about the fridge? It doesn't look as tall as alot of others.
tell me about the wonderful cabinets, are they custom?
me about the constant cleaning. Remember, everything is a give and take. My plan is to place an antique metal tile (about 36" x 36")that normally hangs on the wall as art, against the window while doing any really messy cooking. When you're done, you can wipe it clean and put back on the wall! I'd love
Sorry about the delay! I sometimes don't see questions for some reason... Range is 30" wide. Counter from tall pantry to window wall is +/- 9'-9" (minus range) Counter from end at dishwasher to tile wall is +/- 7'-9"
Hi- sorry about the delay, I sometimes don't see the questions. The hardware

re-oil it about three times a year.
oil it about three times a year with teak oil.
This bathroom is 8x8. The shower is about 3.5x5feet with the neo-angle corner which creates the walkway.
that sits about an inch above a tiled floor. It's purely for decorative/aesthetic purposes. Teak feels great underfoot and we felt that it tied that side of the room in with the cabinetry on the other side of the room. Because there is tile underneath the wood insert can be removed (and is about every 4-5
underneath it about once a month and remove it to pressure wash it and reoil it every few months. As long as you don't use soaps, etc. that cause a lot of buildup it stays clean without much trauma. It is a bit more work than just a regular shower floor but I love the look and the feel under your feet can't

walls are about 12' high so it will create a pretty big mess if I do. The roof will be about 7' wide, about 3' deep with grade of about 30 degrees. Being in New England, I would expect some snow but I can always scrape it off. What do you think? Thanks.

What about a transom above the doors leading to the porch/ sun room, like on the left. I like the way it goes all the way up to the ceiling with the molding/casing.
like about this photo?ocasional chairs end of table. Probably a more comfortable style with arm rests, but similar colours in fabric. To go with cream and green.
