inquiries about this kitchen. The design and execution are just phenomenal, and you've been so generous with your time. I have a question about cabinet finish. I see that the color is Benjamin Moore; I assume this means BM's alkyd paint? Can you tell me if it was spray, roll or brush applied? Thank you
concerned about the dimensions of these two rooms. It would be extremely helpful to me if you could share the size of these two rooms.

We think of this as today's traditional - a bit more monochromatic and with cleaner lines that you might have seen even a decade ago. You're right about a modern splash, too.

We've had no need to create records on our projects. For example, the designer selects the light fixture and we install it - no record, we just need the installation specifications. Since I've been getting so many questions about our projects, I've become more diligent in figuring out
I don't know, however I'd guess about 8 feet. Across from the low cabinet is a tub/shower (you can see it in the mirror) and across from the high cabinet is a toilet niche (which you can also see in the

Put a shoe mold look between the granite hearth and the granite
to be about 9" wide, making the mantel legs about 12" wide and header about 12" tall (it does look like the legs and header are the same size). It appears that the mantel legs and header are about 2" deep (or thick), and it looks like the moulding is about 3/4" tall making it probably about 3/8" deep
header about 2 3/8" deep.
Adding 38" for the height of the fireplace opening, 9" for granite, 12" for the mantel header and another 5" for the crown moulding and header, I'm guessing the whole kit-and-caboodle comes to about 64" off othe floor.
Assuming a 42" wide fireplace plus 18" of granite, 24"

We're about to start our build and are having a very similiar layout for our kitchen including the breakfast bar positioning. The cupboards will be white high gloss with a light granite bench top. Our carpet in the living area will be a dark grey and will flow into the tiled dining and kitchen area

questions about this design. I know you put a strip of laminate under the top cabinets, but I don't think you used the high gloss white sheets from Ikea as those sheets are 1/2" thick. May I ask what you used?
Also, did you use this same material on the sides of the cabinets? My uppers will not be against
