Is it better to paint a baby nursery bright colors or more neutral subdued colors?
What colour 'white' are the walls?
beneficial if they can last a few years before a redo. I would paint neutral or white walls with neutral or white furniture. Babies focus best for the first few months on high-contrast colors, such as black and white. I'd incorporate that into window coverings and/or bedding. For a pop of color,
yea, i always see nursery designs with framed photos above the crib and think the same thing. my kid would stand up and pull them off the wall for sure
The mirror was an old one I had that was gold and I lacquered it. If you Google "white baroque mirror", you will get some good hits.
It was from Babies R Us, very inexpensive. Just any cream or white sheets/bedskirts I could find, I used. The bumper was Carters. Just layer the colors. Washable

Where is the white rug from?
I looked online at West Elm and the linen color looked darker than the curtains in this picture. They did show white canvas - but that was not your description
The curtains are white linen from West Elm. I haven't checked lately to see if they still have that colorway. The rods were kind of a gunmetal or oil rubbed bronze color. We replaced them with acrylic rods, which are much easier on the eye. Thank you for your comment!
Curtains are white linen from West Elm. Roman shades have blackout lining.
White nursery - can use sheepskin
Neutrals and whites with feminine touches.
a lovely play on textures. The former stands up to high traffic, while the latter's soft, tactile nature is optimal for precious spaces like this nursery.
