When you said it's 11' wide plus cabinets & tops, does that mean it's actually13' wide from arch wall to sink wall? Is 3' enough space btwn island & sink? Trying to figure if this can work in our house. LOVE it...I'm happy to see it is possible to do an arch this wide!

I am sure it can be DYI, but I do not recommend it. The tops are glued up and a food grade finish is used on the surface. But anything is possible:).
