About how many square feet is the loft area?
with a view that is primarily to the south so we would like to do this style of structure but aren't sure a north facing roof is good for heavy snow area (10' plus possible - near ski resort in Utah.)

The thickness and material selection for the window seat were suggested by a interior designer for the owner. This is really not our area of expertise but believe in this case the "mattress" was about 6" tall and it was covered in a material selected by the owner.
30 or HZ40E? The 40 has a higher BTU. Does the wall above the fireplace get real hot and are you planning on putting a tv in the recessed area? Does that area get hot. Thinking of getting the 40 with a tv above reacessed. Any comments
