The exterior of the pool house is natural cedar that has aged with time. Sort of like my late response to this question. Thank you for your patience.
The exterior is naturally aged cedar. The entry between the doors is a concrete ramp existing from when this building was a garage.

Love this foyer! Is that shiny brass or aged brass door hardware?
I have similar traditional furniture in my house...would either brass or aged brass be the best finish for the door hardware, or could you use oil rubbed bronze?

penetrate it, etc epé wood strips glued to the membrane. Year ago I did a wood shingled shower waterproofed in this manner, and except for the water aging on the cedar shingles, it was waterproof for several decades until the house was remodeled. There were not leaks. The contractor was a pro.

Provincial dining chair. Finishes vary though common to all colours is the accumulation of polish or grime in the carving over time resulting in an aged patina and emphasis on the carving regardless of whether the furniture is painted or stained.
