I love the uncluttered look of the mirror but worry about proper lighting. is there a recessed light over the vanity area?
What size are the large tiles and who manufactures them? this bathroom is beautiful.
beautiful bathroom. I am curious about the mirror and how it´s installed
What is the size of your bathroom ?
Please tell me about the flooring used in this bathroom.
The bathroom is just beautiful. Can you tell me if the mosaic
allows natural light from the main living area (windows) to penetrate the Bath area adding light throughout the day.
Yes, directional pot-lights were used throughout
throughout the ceiling. Place one directly over the center of the sink bowl. You can direct the light onto the mirror for a 'lighting' splash-back to the face (it's a softer glow). Just make sure there isn't a 'hot' spot in the reflection or it will be very hard on the eyes....be subtle. :-)

Is that frosted glass or a subtle lighting fixture?
lines, colors, textures.. everything is brilliant! You've really created a work of art! Is it difficult to light a shoji screen evenly from behind if there isn't a window? How would you prevent mildew forming on it from the humidity in the bath?
edge. The floor is by Buffalo Stone. http://www.buffalostone.com/home/home.html. For more discussions on the floor tile, see the discussions on this image: http://www.houzz.com/photos/378901/fifties-split-modern-bathroom-dc-metro.
shoji screen is actually this material -- Kalwall - http://www.kalwall.com. It is a translucent exterior wall panel. The wall panel is evenly lit b/c it is lilt from the out-of-doors. Reading about this material will likely answer your questions about mildew. Hope this helps!

should I put a back splash in the bathroom behind the sink?
What is the size (space) of this bathroom?
We carry a very similar product as well that you can find here: http://www.subwaytileoutlet.com/products/Cloud-White-Glimmer-Glass-Tile.html
Oyster/light grey mosaic tiles for JUST in the shower - not to cover the whole bathroom.
This type of tile is good for a bathroom which receives no natural light
Iridescent and bounces light around room w/o window
Bounce the light around. In a bathroom that receives little or no natural light, light-colored tiles reflect it and make things brighter. Iridescent glass tiles are a good choice for this. Tip: Think big when you see a big sale. Covering a wall in tile can run you a lot

I love the way this mirror is framed by the slightly popped out tile work. I would love to copy this in my bathroom. I am hoping you will give me some great tips on how to accomplish this successfully. Thanks!
