Were these cabinets hand painted or sprayed? Water base or oil? Is it a low luster finish? Thanks. They are beautiful.
white kind of bm decorator white finish? where they hand painted or sprayed? in the shop or on site? was there any protective coat applied over the paint?
I think bathrooms are the easiest place to isolate your hardware/lighting finishes
I see that the cabinets are sprayed with a latex paint - is the trim latex as well or is it a satin impervo?
finishes. Traditionally a nickel or chrome would have been used in the bathrooms even if brass was used in other areas of a home. We find it a pleasant aesthetic to mix finishes throughout the home, creating some continuity with all door handles/hinges the same finish, all faucets/accessories the same finish

small bathroom - why not make the sink in the shower space to save space
reason why it’s important to map out your shower is what we can refer to as the ‘spray effect’. Barrier-free or semi-open showers are big business right now, but you need to think about measures to stop the rest of the bathroom (and particularly the toilet) being covered in droplets that have flown in all
covered in water. This bathroom is a great example. It has been designed so the glass screen closest to the toilet runs alongside where a person would sit. Notice how the screen extends way beyond the length of the toilet and its highest point is also closest to the toilet? Great ‘spray effect’ protection
Would like to have this many jets and sprays

The bathroom is 9 1/2 ft by 12 ft with a 5 ft x 3 ft shower alcove. This bathroom backs up to the hall bathroom which is 5 ft x 9 1/2 ft with a 4 ft x 3 ft shower alcove. There are two vanities for his and her, walk in shower, a freestanding 6ft bathtub and the toilet.

Open showers: 3. Prepare to combat chills. There's no getting around it — open showers can be drafty, especially in the winter months. Installing a heat lamp and radiant heat bathroom flooring can offset the shivers. Mount a heated towel
2. Consider a corner location if possible. Orient the shower in a corner that faces away from the other bathroom zones. Not only does this guard against spraying water, but it also preserves some measure of privacy (more on that in a minute).
The master bathroom is open and full of natural light. An open shower lined in a subtle glass tile, built-in cabinetry, and a marble countertop in Calcutta Gold maintain the streamlined aesthetic of the rest of the home. Photography by Whit Preston Photography and Paul Finkel of Piston Design More:
