This is a fairly traditional soapstone. Black with the white veins - which has patina over time or has been enhanced with a Ager, oil or wax.
The hood insert is Best By Broan, PIK33. The cabinet surround was designed by us and built to accept the hood insert. Hope this helps!

The oven's and cooktop were Thermador, the Microwave was GE. We added the 48" Kitchen Aid refrigerator and dishwasher. I love Kitchen Aiid's large built in refrigerators for their reliability...these products are so expensive, I expect them to be mostly trouble free and the Kitchen Aid seems to be more
