A cedar fence encloses the space. The homeowners were motivated primarily by the desire to shield themselves from the wind and ocean spray. Though they wanted privacy, they didn’t want the entire front facade to be opaque, closed off to the world. Estes designed a permeable fence: The garden is private

Love the horizontal cedar fencing. Llive in Texas: where can I get it?

A new cedar fence surrounds the property. “I use this type of fence quite a bit with many of my homes,” says Zamore. “I like the horizontal feel versus the typical vertical picket fence.” It gives the wood fence a modern twist and matches the design’s rhythm. Wood balances the amount of steel and concrete
warming the look of the space. Crushed granite gravel and black star gravel alternate between concrete pavers. The projecting lines of the pergola, wood fence and hardscape keep the eye moving throughout the 650-square-foot patio area, providing visual interest without trying too hard. A hefty wood dining

Love the natural wood (stick) fence. Did you have it made?
I would like to build a similar fence for my garden; however the materials would need to be purchased, as we do not have the resources available on our property.

so Dahlin added this cedar fence along the front. "We weren't sure if we should stain the fence or not, so I advised the client to live with it for a while," he says. "It's always easier to stain it later than to stain it first and undo it later." The natural patina of the cedar works well with the colors
This long and low home is accented perfectly by a long and low privacy fence. The lines work together instead of competing, allowing the house to fit snugly into its surroundings.
