standard drywall ceiling. I'm mid-project with a similar detail. The base and ceiling reveal are created by a trim piece installed prior to taping/finishing. Try Fryreglet or BrandX metals. They both have a variety of shapes.

This wall color looks a lot like Sherwin's Buckram Binding/SW0036. A lovely, warm tan. It goes so well with the hard surface finishes!
