Where does the chalk residue end up falling? I would imagine this would get really messy but nonetheless such a cute idea.
Like the chalk board but would make a mess it would be nice if it had a slot to fall into so you don't have to sweep it every where and go in the carpet

what if a person falls from the end of the pool
Someone would have to really make an effort to get to a point where they could fall. In the shallow end, you can see an in-water bar/counter which acts as a barrier to keep people from the edge.

Throw 5. Create a casual cascade. Drape your throw over the back right or left side of a high-back chair. Don't worry about how it falls, it will look so warm and cozy. Choose a throw with fringed edges so it finishes looking soft as it nears the back leg.
