Also could you explain the shelving system as I have a very narrow deep cubby for a pantry.
I don't get the shelving layout. Can you explain or send a diagram?

Questions5
Since bookshelves are usually less than 1 foot deep, how do you make them fit in with a window seat which is deeper? Is there a false back on the shelves?
brickwork. This mean with the depth shown the shelve would approx 8-10 inches deep.
You could do 2 different depths.. All of the lower cabinets inline with the window seat be deeper, which would be great for storage of those bigger items but tier the upper shelves so their depth isn't so vast. This will
of bookcases and that would be annoying. If you want to be flexible with depth, use some boxes (wood, card, papered, painted..etc) in behind of shelves you don't want to lose books in but still can opt to store your board games :-)

Was this a custom wall unit or did you order it from some place? Thanks very much. I love this room.
Like this without so many shelves
The couple recently created a built-in shelving unit at the far end of the home office to organize their shared workspace. This project was separate from their overall renovation. "Before we had the shelves, the clutter was a little out of hand," Megan says. Area rug: One King's Lane; desk: Ava Wood
