Calcutta Marble and can be found at Most (if not all) marble and granite dealers.
We purchased the mosaic backsplash at a local dealer near Boston - but it's pretty easy to source. It's a Calcutta Marble Mosaic, honed finish.

how the marble holds up over time
I too was going to go with a Diano Reale marble vanity top in my Bathroom, but several folks are advising against using marble due the porous nature of the stone and the possibility of staining and acid etching. Do you have any experience or feedback that you could
that the marble will not hold up over time.
question that marble may require some additional maintenance because it is a relatively soft and porous stone. However, I would not let that stop you from using it in a bathroom. Just be sure to use a natural stone sealer and cleaner to treat the marble periodically. Also, when corrosive liquids or products
