This shower floor is part of a travertine and Honey onyx bathroom we did. We use custom designed drains on all of our shower floors. The basket weave pattern onyx on the shower floor was accented with two horizontal stripes on the walls.
Where did you get this drain cover. I covet this drain cover
I absolutely love these designer drains. What an awesome addition to beautify any bathroom.
Why did you put the drain near the edge? How big is this shower? Thanks.

trench drains look good & seem so clean. are they easy to clean? how does one trap the hair?
The perforated section of the drain lifts out for cleaning. It all drains into a standard 2" pipe underneath. Yes it is a great look and keeps the floor slope to a minimum.
If you click on the green tag in the photo it gives you the website for ordering this drain. Thanks for asking!

shower products - that's feels like a missing element in a design where function was obviously valued. Again, love the hinged window front.
Interested in knowing who makes the thin rectangular drain and color/supplier of tile?
Is that a window at the right of the shower? If so, what is covering the window?
Love the space! How high is the step up to the towel area, and what is the depth of the shower? Was it raised to simplify plumbing, or just design interest?
A beautiful wet zone design! How did you solve the slippery tile issue? What gives traction? Thanks!
What material is the window cover made from?
Interested in the drain as well; source? Thank you!
The Grata drain looks like a primary shower drain. You will need to privately test this drain if your having permits pulled as I believe they have not applied for a primary shower drain classification ion North America. Like mentioned above the Proline drain is as close to this drain as you can get

I'm looking for a very inexpensive solution to cover/protect the surface of my new washer and dryer. It's a front loader like pictured here and I would love to use the top as counter space. Any suggestion
have a floor drain installed. This way you'll be ready for any floods and you can mop the floor right into the drain.".
pan or floor drain in laundry
drain in the floor on upper floor
Drip pan installed under washer, with drain
make sure there is a floor drain in the laundry
The washing machine itself could leak, so if you're on an upper floor, it should be installed in a pan with a drain, as shown
you're on an upper floor, it should be installed in a pan with a drain, as shown in this picture. Better yet, tile the floor and have a floor drain installed. This way you'll be ready for any floods and you can mop the floor right into the drain.

I am thinking about a frameless design with a stainless line drain but worry about the water drain flow.
Are these shower drains available in Toronto?
Hello, we are looking to purchase a linear drain for our shower, but would like
us a sense of Megowan’s modern design sensibilities. The room is small, but it seems larger due to the frameless fixed glass panel.

Obviously cannot brush teeth in it. Where does water go? Will the drain get mossy? It is such a great idea though. Truly a conversation piece. Love it
thanks! the drain is hidden under the travertine slab on the floor. It drains well and cleaning is simple - lift the travertine to expose the stainless grill....
The water runs into a hidden drain in the floor covered by the travertine - you can see the small cut in the travertine.
think its a practicable choice given that you use it to wash your hands and the mess it must make on the floor and wall when it splashes down onto the drain tile at the end of the run.
While not for me this is a very interesting design
Some of today's sink designs don't need a P-trap, like the one in this photo. This sink doesn't even have a waste line; the water simply slides down into the shower drain!
