Hi! What a wonderful nursery. So fun and fresh. Do you remember where the ceiling lamp was from. Also, what was the size of the rug? Thank you!

of having a nursery with funky wallpaper
wallpaper patternA nursery can obviously pull off more whimsy than most other rooms. Find a fun pattern and paper the entire room or just one wall. Build on the pattern by adding complementary colours or art.

E is for elephant. A safari-themed nursery is a great idea – particularly if the baby’s sex is being kept a surprise. Deep greens and yellows are perfect for a gender-neutral colour palette. And the monochromatic animal-print wallpaper would no doubt provide hours of visual stimulation

Playroom (1 of 1): I like the red/orange themed valance in a fun print. I am open to different prints, but no stripes and definitely something that is gender neutral.

I like this a lot. However, since the letters aren't arranged alphabetically, it really distracts my eye, I recreated this with my children's names, repeating the alphabet in order.
Alphabet artwork with a subtle message embedded in the type looks anything but childish.
In fact, we found the sentiment spelled out all over the place, including these prints from Made By Girl (available at her Etsy shop).
