What is that black rectangular object in the island? Is it a dish drain behind the sink? I love that idea.
Salvaged metal trough in countertop for ice, beer, plants, etc. would need drain though!

WE are trying to do an accessible shower for our daughter, is the shower pitched towards the drain and the glass is only half way?
shower floor drops down no more than half an inch and then slopes to the drain. There is a glass door hinged on the right - it just doesn't show in the photo.
