landed on 54" off the shower floor. You'll want to mock it up at your home in consideration of your own height and comfort for privacy or visual out of the shower. Have fun with it!
lines on the ceiling and on the walls that match up with the shower walls make the bathroom appear wider.
Traditional Powder Room
direction on how to do this faux finish? Some basic guidelines/steps and colors would be great! Thank you!
Love the design of the mirror. Where can I find it?
produced on these walls is not very evident. The final coat was waxed and produced a real luxurious feel. Have fun!
The vanity was custom build by Old World Kitchens, in Chilliwack, BC. All the cabinetry work on my site has been build by this custom cabinetry company.
the play on colors & textures
heavy on the cabinetry necessary though
Cabinetry, wall finish, tiles on backsplash
the wash on one side and the potty on other. I like the scale of this with the raised ceiling and big wash area for the powder room
Handmade In-Frame Kitchen in Old White
in-frame design with mainly one painted colour, that being the Farrow & Ball Old White. This was accented with natural oak on the island unit pillars and on the bespoke cooker hood canopy. The Island unit features slide away tray storage on one side with tongue and grove panelling most of the way round
canopy designed to be at the correct height in a very low ceiling room. The sink and tap where from Franke, the sink being a VBK 720 twin bowl ceramic sink and a Franke Venician tap in chrome. The whole kitchen was topped of in a beautiful granite called Ivory Fantasy in a 30mm thickness with pencil round

Casual Dining in a Formal Setting
wainscoting on the walls and coffered ceilings are new, but constructed to look original. The salvaged wood farmhouse table is the perfect gathering spot for their family and a nice contrast to the more formal touches like the silk window treatments and subdued color palette. beams on your ceiling are. It would be very helpful as I want them to be substantial but not overwhelming. Thanks so much!
fellow designer on their work. It is greatly deserved. I am now following you and look forward to seeing more of your designs.
depends on how wide your table is. I'd recommend comparing the diameter measurement of the light with the width of the table. I'd say the diameter of the light shouldn't exceed the width of the table. If it is close and you're still not sure, create a template of the light out of cardboard and hold

Like the mission details on the fireplace surround. Would not need ours to reach to the ceiling.
