walls are herbal green (Kelly green) and trim is off white..I wanted to decorate with some pinks or lavendar and yellow florals but husband has already said he doesnt want it too girly..i plan on using actual photos of flowers on the walls..but i like the pink

Hi Mandie...florals aren't strictly feminine, after all, flower gardens are seldom labeled as "too girly". Try balancing the florals and soft colors in
towards browner pink tones that don't weigh as much on the feminine side. Take a look at Benjamin Moore allspice 2101-50, cherry malt 2104-50, monticello rose HC-63, coral dust 2173-50 or cappuccino 2096-50...all of these pink tones feel very soft and cottagey especially paired with manchester tan HC-81 and

It's the Hathaway dining table, which is oval. Good luck!
oval makes it easier to maneuver around. Legs at corner make it easier to pull chairs up to. Not sure about the combination of chairs here.

I'd like to do something similar in my bath, cabinets on top, 2 sinks and a vanity and am wondering how much space I'd need.
Do you think it is possible to do with a 106" wall? I could make the towers 12" wide. My sinks are a standard oval 17" width and I could make do with a 22" knee space for the vanity. Would this be too crowded?
Can you share where you got your cabinet hardware?
"what color to do the shower in?" Do you mean tile or are you doing a per-fabricated shower/tub surround? I have matched all plumbing fixtures and hardware in the past but I don't any longer. You can do whatever you would like as long it is done with sophistication and style. Have a great day and thanks

reply, I had already hung the sheers. I put them even with the top of the window. This created a nice 3D effect in that the drapes were hung from the ceiling and 9 inches from the wall.
I'd hang the sheers at the same height as the drapes. Hope this helps.
Kirsch has a wide variety of curtain and drapery hardware including 1 3/8" diameter metal poles. You can find the products I am referring to at: http://www.draperyrodsdirect.com/default.asp Thanks!

While this room feels borderline traditional, the fabric pattern and shape of the occasional chair keep it from being

Hi - we are building a similar 2-story formal living room & I'd just like to know roughly what the dimensions are on this so I can get an idea. We are thinking 19x15 but 9 feet on the front is a semi octagon shape so that kills a little bit of space. Do you think that
I have a large rambler with cherry woodwork. similar stone on fireplace but with some rose and dark brown tones. Can you share paint color and where the furniture, curtains, pillows came from? Thank you so much! Need help in chilly MN.
are the botanicals in the photograph silks or real? i like the greenery and florals you have chosen, they add a softness and earthiness, complimenting your delightfully tasteful design/furnishings. a truly pleasing space.
