was nothing additional used between the edge of the mosaic and the firebox opening. I did have the interior of the firebox painted with black masonry/heat-resistant paint for a cleaner look.

You have to have either a screen door, a larger square foot area for the dryer, or vent above the dryer. It has something to do with the heat the dryer emits and the square footage of space around it that requires you to vent the space to bring it o code.

varible speed pump separately designated just for this waterfall feature allows for different white water and sound effects and also allows for the the heating of the spa to be by-passed when only the waterfall effect is desired. Asymmetrical Overhaul
This was both aesthetic and functional. This fireplace is set in the wall quite high and to avoid damage from heat rising from the fire, the TV would have had to have been hung far to high to be comfortable. It is also hidden in the corner, allowing the fireplace

If that's the look and feel you desire then by all means. Just know that tile can be very cold and you may want to heat some areas of it, depending on the climate you live in. We have clients that have done this in the main living spaces but may use carpets in the bedrooms
