For a high end look that is more cost effective, we use veneer plaster with color in our mix. The materials costs compared to Italian (Venetian) plaster are minuscule. After the veneer plaster is applied, it can be left alone or apply a colored wax if a more dramatic look is wanted. This works great
finish; if a high gloss finish is wanted than it's better to stay with true Venetian plaster. We hope this helped! for a high gloss finish. Oh-and one more thing-the brochure will tell you it only comes in certain colors but it isn't true-you can choose from any Behr color-the person working just needs to know how much to add since it is so thick. I was fortunate the Behr rep was there the day I was in so I got just
