engineered laminated beams with more dramatic roof lines, but the result is still appealing.
3. Strong setting. This house makes the most of its beautiful location. The architect has taken a cue from the mountainous setting and inverted the typical roof line. I love that this home mimics the valley of

just enough to display favorite items while still allowing most of your stuff to reside behind closed doors. Take a cue from the kitchen shown here and line the open shelf with pretty wood and cabinet lights.

What is the paint color on the walls?
Ok thanks - it does seem the cooktop is close to the wall. Did you use a specific paint that cleans up easily from splatters?

What white did you use for the wall? I have oak floors and cabinets, pine ceiling and am looking to brighten up the place. Thanks in advance!

Old-school Texan homes embraced this warm and weathered look, with old barn wood lining cabinets, walls and floors.Get this look: Luckily for us, pieces made from reclaimed lumber are no longer hard to come by, as a wealth of designers and furniture

Stone wall - is it real?
Hello! My fav part of this room is the stone wall. Would like to do the same as an accent wall for my contemporary kitchen. Did you go for the real thing? Did you use half sized stone? Do you have any regrets or any advice for this project?
wood shelf above the hood attached with hidden metal brackets or are the iron brackets holding up the shelf? We are hoping to get the same look but our shelves will be lower and will need to hold heavier items for everyday use. We will also be placing the shelves on a tile wall.
Hi, The stone was an existing condition. The structure was built in 1750 as a barn, the great bones of this project allowed us making a spectacular one of a kind home. The stone is local to NJ and up to 30'' thick. The entire kitchen with the exception of the back wall is field stone
