Contemplating a free standing range hood over a cooker in an island bench...would love to add a utensil and pot hanger to it...would I strike problems with oil and grime having to pass the pots/utensils before entering the range hood?
You may be better off with the pot/utensil holder as a separate installation from the range hood (either a single unit like this off to the side, or 2 smaller units on either side of the hood). There are several reasons for this: 1.) Design flexibility - you'll be able to resize / move things
things around without being bound to any particular layout. 2.) Design choices - you'll be free to choose any range hood and any pot/utensil holder you want. 3.)
