Indian/bohemian inspiration for the living room
Spanish colonial feature. "I was adamant about preserving the ceiling," says Neithart. The floors were refinished, the walls were replastered, and the fireplace received a makeover. Neithart added details found as far away as Africa and India that were in keeping with Old World style but added a unique stamp

Wondering what kind of paint was used on the fireplace
Our Edward Curtis Indian is printed on a scrim, I stretched him over a canvas covered frame. We got him at Ikea about 5 years ago. Wish I had bought a dozen, I could have sold them all by now.
I'm in love! Where is the large Indian print from?
of maybe darkening it with a deep gray and then painting stairs in a lighter hue? I'm so afraid of paint. Weren't you terrified to paint your fireplace, or did you just cover over someone's previously painted bad idea?
I love the colors and the mix of rugs and of course the Edward Curtis large Indian

My family room in Atlanta. A gorgeous stone fireplace gives this space a rustic touch. A bright red rug from Mexico, silk blinds and handmade cushions from India.

great room
Where can I get this fireplace? Does it come in a smaller scale?
Who is the manufacturer of the fireplace? I'd like to get one.
This Montigo gas fireplace does not require a hearth.
That may be a Town & Country Luxury Gas Fireplace. I don't believe those normally require a hearth, but I agree with others about checking local codes just to be on the safe side.
