I was wondering how I will find a good person to hire, if I were trying to wire a TV above my fireplace like the one above. My home was built in the early 1900's...... so I'm thinking this may be hard to accomplish.
I recommend you talk to a local contractor and get an estimate to do this. Every home is different and your existing fireplace, believe it or not, is unique. These need to be inspected and each case may require different solutions.
