Extreme Makeover Home - Joplin
The crew with Extreme actually built this room, so I don't know all the details but will pass on what I do know. The best was made from 4x4, 2x4 and plywood all painted. The lights were all bought from Ikea and they used plexiglass similar to the lights in the rail of the bed.

What would you recommend for the length of clothing rod....I was thinking 2-2.5 feet?
Contact us if you need help with your project. We design this type of space all the time.
The faucet is Kohler's Essex K8763. Hope that helps. Mary
@ crystal: (34") would be 2 ft 10 inches.. would it not sag, if we exceed than that? what would be a safe measure wrt dimensions of rod?

After years of ignoring its original warehouse aesthetic, due to a developer’s ‘apartmentizing’ of the building, this 2,400 square foot, two-story loft has been rehabilitated to show off its industrial roots. Layers of paint and drywall have been removed revealing the original timber beams and masonry
reclaimed wood. I have had trouble finding the appropriate insert and dealing with the codes etc. Questions: 1). Is this gas or wood burning insert? 2) Which insert is it (make & model if possible)? 3) What codes are required (i.e. distance from insert to combustible material (i.e. the wood). Thanks
surround was part of a larger project in this space, so its hard to put an exact cost on it. If this were stand alone project I would estimate around $3K to demo the existing surround and construct this new one. Not including the price of the fireplace insert itself, of course.
