Mixed Use Elegance
The railing was custom fabricated by Rocketworks Design Studio in Portland. They are made from salvaged shower doors purchased from the rebuilding center. I believe the detail is c-channel with silicone to hold the glass in place. If I get more info back from the owner I will add to this response!

Where did you get this shower rod?
another overhead shower rail to turn tub into tub + shower
Two (or three for shower) thin lines of color surrounded by white
the way the shower curtain is hung instead of the wall
the morning? The walls are the perfect shade of yellow — neither too soft nor too bright. A nice punchy orange is brought in through the tile and the shower curtain. If you want a low-commitment option using this palette, just stick to paint and accessories in the featured hues — they are relatively easy

When you take a shower does the water flow all over the floor?
Even though made by one single slab of honed Carrara Marble, the floor has been shaped to slope imperceptibly towards the shower drain, like a shallow circular bowl. There is some occasional overflowing, but it works wonderfully most of the time
Get real about shower curtainsOne of my least favourite things about shower curtains is that they have a habit of getting sucked into the shower or bath while you’re in it and sticking to your skin. And there’s nothing relaxing about that. If space is tight and you can’t enclose your shower in glass, other
other measures will be required. This novel approach will keep the curtain well away from you during a shower. Another option is to go for a heavy shower curtain weighted at the bottom. Sew weights into the bottom yourself or, if you have a metal tub, opt for magnets to keep it in place.
