A simple one-story white clapboard 1920s cottage bungalow sat on a narrow straight street with many older homes, all of which meeting the street with a similar dignified approach. This house was the smallest of them all, built in 1922 as a weekend cottage, near the old East Falls Church rail station
cannot decide for our house that looks sort of similar (although, yours definitely RULES). thanks a million!
can you tell me the color of the foundation? is this simply foundation paint or stucco? thanks, home looks great!

Hi Angela, Love your smart use of an efficiency space. I'd like to know where I can purchase the eye clock (or what looks like an eye and a clock all in one) that's hung on the partition wall? I'd love to buy it for my own home. Many thanks for sharing your beautiful designs.
the other side of the 2 way built in wall, good visuals, air vent. n light "making the ceilings seem higher"
the wall on right, display up high, allows air and light to pass.
other side of previous photo--apparently glass backs up the space. could use on bedroom wall to let light through
I like the way the shelves add display space without sacrificing light to the other room -- might work between our kitchen and living room!

Thanks for your question. I'm certain that this has been discontinued; this room was done a few years ago, and Hooker frequently discontinues merchandise. However, they have several excellent office solutions, and I'm sure you'll be able to find something that suits your needs! :)
thanks for your question. It's been a while since this project was completed, and unfortunately, I don't recall the paint color.

completely dependent on the space, your personal style, the desired effect, etc. People have this idea that hallways should be kept light but I completely disagree. If you have a larger home (or even a home that just has nicely defined hallways) you can certainly get away with darker or more saturated colors
If you're worried about fingerprints and scratches than you might want to consider something besides stainless steel for your counters. While stainless is fantastic for a "real working" kitchen (as is the case in this clients home) it will always, as a material, scratch
Nope it's just the lighting and the way the stainless reflects the light. They are very warm feeling in person which is partially due to the sueded finish...
