Mar, California was designed by Donna Puzifera of D for Design. No detail was overlooked in this home that was designed for casual living with comfortable indoor living and extraordinary outdoor experiences.
the hardware rings. The drapes look operable. The drapes, hardware and natural woven shades have been mounted right up to the ceiling to make the room appear taller. There is no crown molding therefore the window treatments can be mounted at this point.

niece ceiling design for living area
after a while. They make take away space and make the room feel crowded.
Suspended ceiling. Pros it looks very nice, adds a modern feel to a room. Cons could get in the way, some people may not like it. I would use this ceiling in a living room or bedroom of a house.

Alastairs room will have this feel if you use red bedspreads and drapes. I don't often use drapes in rooms, as I think they close in. But if you do...it would be great to use a strong red print.
I like this for our living room. I like red with the yellow, normally darker red tho, like our couch.
