B and D's tile with white river stones
the tile looks like wood, such an organic feel, natural. I am sure the stones feel nice on the feet as well

How thick is the stone mantel from top to bottom?
Is this two sided fireplace natural gas.if so who is the manufacturer
What kind of stone and what plaster/ceiling and wall treatment is this?
Love this fireplace. Is it gas? Someone told me you shouldn't vent a gas fireplace because you lose the heat in the room. Is this pre-manufactured or built on site?
This isn't my project, so I can't say for sure, but it appears to be a masonry wood-burning fireplace with custom doors and some very serious natural stone. Ironhaus makes some doors like this: http://ironhaus.com/fireplaces/woodburning
I like the natural stone look. This is big but assume we could shrink it

Private Residence
I have a very sloped lot - lakefront & envision a similar look; design with pool. Would love to use large boulders and or natural stone versus manufactured stones. Wall will have to be 80ft long and about 10 - 12 feet high. any tips or photos appreciated. thank you!
have pictures of the finished stone wall on the other side. No special design or construction just a labor intensive landscape job. There was existing ledge here that we were lucky enough to work with. I believe manufactured stones are easier to work with, but natural stones do have a better look and feel
Slope matches ours- nice stone wall

part of the manufacturer. The uppermost pieces of the bracket jambs show heavy striations running vertically. When designing and fabricating an architectural element using stone these striations should always run horizontally. The reason being is that if there is a flaw in the stone and a failure
Stone like this with matching mantle
if no stone, this mantle piece is nice
Like stone, opening but needs to wrap around breast rather than looking like
