Is this Marble honed or polished? and what type of bonding is required to acheive
Hi there, I LOVE what you've done with this and I'm exploring doing something similar, but the calacatta marble slab is 20mm thick and exceptionally heavy. How did you get it to stay safely in place? Many thanks, Bernice

such as marble, you are better off using the marble in a matte finish. Remember, the more shiny or polished the marble is, the more you will notice etch marks! Besides, marble is supposed to have character, how is it that it has been used in Europe for thousands of years and no one ever complains about

"carerra marble" Formica countertop. We have a large beautiful dark wood work table island that will be used in the kitchen and the perimeter of countertops will be in a different countertop material. We like Carerra but are afraid of the maintenance. Does anyone know if the Formica marble will look

Marble is prone to damage by acids which include lemon, lime, grapefruit, etc. It is practical if you know this ahead of time and keep those liquids wiped up. Otherwise, it will create problems.
