is the marine edge constructed? How was your fabricator able to hide the transition line? I'm obsessed with the look of it, but it seems to be a really rare edge and my fabricator is having trouble figuring out how it's made!

Marine edge on counter edges of island. Keeps liquids from running off onto the floor. Do a special edge in the island and a standard square edge on the exterior wall counters

Marine edge. This is profile is more often seen on stainless steel countertops. It's a built-up thickness, but rather than mitered, the outside edge is raised. I'm assuming the term "marine edge" refers to how this detail keeps liquids from running off the countertop.
