How sanitary are butcher block countertops?
Look at that butcher block island! Does anyone know where to get one of those?
Does your butcher block island top have to match the wood color of your cabinets
natural wood cabinets, and dark hard wood floors. I would prefer a darker butcher block island top but am not sure if that would look alright.

Do you know the name of the company where the butcher block came from?

maple has noteworth toughness even for flooring and serves well as a kitchen countertop
Uses Because of its noteworthy toughness, hard maple is an excellent choice for flooring. It also serves well as a kitchen countertop due to its closed-pore density. Some people prefer to use their maple countertop as a chopping block and view the eventual scuffed-up
