How do you paint a wood floor?
Painting a wood floor can be a less expensive alternative to refinishing your floors. What's great about painting wood flooring is that it works just as well for modern homes as it does for traditional homes. It's

What stain was used for the front door? Fiberglass or true wood? Thanks!

White casing with natural wood doors
white trim with stained wood doors
If you have nice wood elements, keep them natural, but set them off with white painted wood trim. If the baseboard trim and door casings here were natural wood, none of the elements would really stand out, especially against the wood floor and the decorative joists above the door. Add white painted trim

I would like to know the exact model in this photo from Weathershield's line of wood windows.
What is the approximate cost for the mahogany surround bath tub? What woods wear best with the least maintenance in wet environments? Thank you!
Is the tub deck made of wood? If so is this made by a specific company?
The wood windows on this project are by Weathershield, and distributed in Austin by Exclusive
i am unable to comment on any costs. this bathroom was built in 2004, and involved a trim carpenter, a plumber and the painter to seal the wood. We chose mahogany because of its ability to stand up in a damp environment.

Love the aesthetics of the sliding wood door!
So the wood door slides, or the windows? The path leads up to the windows so I am confused. :)

a good option for this approach. It’s a translucent stain with a small amount of gray pigment with bleach in it. The bleach whitens the color of the wood substrate, and the gray pigment colors it to the soft gray you see in weathered siding. By applying it to all surfaces before it’s installed, you’re

will you please tell me what kind of wood are these beautiful doors made of? Thank you.
Hi John - Thanks for your response. By "fillet" do you mean thickness of the wood? The baseboards look fairly tall - 5" maybe? We are redoing a tired 50's side split which is actually a great living space once it's opened up! Thanks

5. Natural WoodMany people believe all original wood trim is sacred. It is not. High-quality, well-maintained wood is beautiful, but feel free to paint over natural wood if that's your cup of tea. It's just a matter
