type trees are featured in this photo?
street trees in new projects, Miami-Dade County requires them to be planted at a spacing of 35' average of your street frontage. I will rather see them planted at 50' o.c. and Becky is correct, keep them away from the structures as well.

beauty of oak trees which are beautiful on there own and rare, I have a mix of evergreen and maple :)
Love this! Ferns in lieu of cast iron under your oak trees!!

individual trees. It's a lush look that will work all year round in the right climate. Design tip: Not all trees do well with plantings underneath; many, in fact, will suffer from overwatering or root competition. Check with your nursery or local gardening experts before planting.

earth and tree roots weren't disturbed, saving the mature oak tree directly outside the kitchen window.
By cantilevering this kitchen addition, the need for a foundation was eliminated. So the earth and tree roots weren't disturbed, saving the mature oak tree directly outside the kitchen window.
The cantilliver didn't disturb the tree and by cantiliving the addition there was no need for a foundation

of the tree in this design
Love the tree "life" being part of the design
I want a tree growing through my house
giant oak tree enclosed by the home. This particular part of the property, which the family loved, is surrounded by limiting geography, including a creek on one side. They had no choice but to build in this particular spot. "It's a beautiful old majestic tree, and we couldn't get rid of it," Marc says
integrate the tree into the design and build around it. Although it is a spectacular sight, Marc says, "It did break up the house. It would have had more open flow without the tree."

These tree-trunk posts are two of a set of six that support an office loft above a dining room. Harvested onsite, the oak tree trunks were stripped, polished and incorporated into the structure.

cred. The trees gradually regenerate their bark after it’s harvested, and the harvesting process itself is strictly regulated in order to keep damage minimal. Because the trees can live between one and two centuries, cork is a long-term renewable resource. And if there’s an allergy sufferer in your home
Two tone kitchen, white and stained oak.

giant live oak tree that provides lots of shade to the house and patio. A detached two-car garage has extra space for his woodworking tools. Risher and his wife have since moved due to their growing family and have passed their dream home onto another family.
