like the "merge" of the outside and inside floor
Use a flooring material on our main floor that can go outside as well. I picture the back wall to be completely windows/glass doors. By continuing the flooring to the back patio area we can create a "blur between inside and outside".
Here there is a track line for the sliding doors, but the flooring material in a smooth pale gray makes the interior of the home feel completely merged with the pool area.

Cabinets are Maple with a light coffee glaze. Top rail is Black Walnut too match the floors and wall caps.

attention to the upstairs landing with art . This makes the entry seem more spacious b/c the eye is drawn up to another area. A nice rug on the entry floor can define the space as separate from the living room, too. The long hall can be treated as an art gallery wall with art / family photos / mirrors along
