Fun idea to liven up narrow hallway
love the idea of repetition with several of the same, large lights lining the hallway
Paper lanterns or glass ones would be a GREAT way to light up the hall to the garage & create a focal point while not being too expensive.

4. Pendant lighting. Most interior hallways don't have windows, which means adequate artificial lighting is a necessity. Try adding hanging pendants instead of the standard surface-mounted lighting. The right pendant will light up your hallway while adding design flair, too.
multiples to create drama. Why it works: It’s a great way to light a long hallway. Paper lanterns offer gentle illumination and are inexpensive, so using several won’t break the bank.

Beautiful hallway.. Might you recall the hallway dimensions you were working with here? Thank you...
What is the width of this hallway?
where did you purchase the light in the hallway?
@Harrison Design Associates: Can you share info about the dark wood floor. Width of the planks? type of wood?, stain?, finish? prefinished? Thank you!
The hallway lantern is manufactured by Hinkley (Hinkleylighting.com).
Thank you for your question. The hallway dimensions are 17' x 7'.
Since they are interior windows, they were produced by a local millwork shop. The exterior windows were produced by Andersen.
Just love this hallway. Round window. Curved beams. Built-ins.
Not colors but like half dome hallways

Narrow Hallway to Work Tell us: Do you have a great hallway design? How have you cut down on circulation space in your home? Hall about 6ft wide.
wide hallway ... nice and open
functions better, costs less to build, is more efficient to run and maintain, and gets you more for less.More: Put a Narrow Hallway to WorkTell us: Do you have a great hallway design? How have you cut down on circulation space in your home?

Seeley Living Room A
I am using the shaker beige in my hallway and up the staircase and in the upstairs hallway. In my living room, We are using a fernwood Green. But color would you suggest to use for the Kitchen, that would make the
white to use in a hallway with no windows between two shaker beige rooms with mayonnaise trim? Thank you!
I really love the look of shaker beige. I have somewhat of an open floor plan. My carpet
to put. My furniture is dark modern wood with glass coffee table
Your work is exceptional! You even have my husband wanting to decorate our new home with me. Thank you! Thank you! Keep up your fabulous work. :)
size of room and why a case opening
What is the size of the living and dinning room? Also why did you decide to place case openings in the dinning room? Without the case openings, don't you feel it would make the living and dinning room more open and just as elegnant? Thanks!
