vary the different paved surfaces of this Sydney garden, the designer has set bands of slate pavers into pebbles. This a great idea for a subsidiary path that is not used as a main circulation route. The colours of the pebbles were selected to complement those of the slate.

maybe an overhang similar to what we have but with pillars instead of straight legs. want lights hanging or 2 fans. Then instead of gazebo maybe a structure similar to that to compliment the overhang with a chandelier hanging or a fireplace

Why you don't want to mix traditional mulch with a gravel path
I do not like how the garden are running into the paths. Looks unfinished
