The trees are growing ok inside?
Seems like the trees might be a bit light constrained, though, inside. What are the details on having them live successfully inside - are the interior lights left on to supplement natural light, soil mixture specialized... and what about sufficient drainage under

oldest tree in recorded history and much beloved by Asians, who treasure the stinky fruit it drops because there is a delicious seed inside it. I completely agree with your advice not to take them all down at once. Too much of a shock.
