plaid like this - all over plaid (but i want red)
Oh dear. I really have to admit that I love the plaid with the flowers, but it might be a tad too much.
Is this seriously good advice!? this is WAY too much plaid. I don't think I like plaid or floral so much.
you're a plaid fanatic, take this room as inspiration to embrace the pattern of your affection. The walls, ceiling and wingback chairs are all upholstered in a natty blue tartan for an English country-chic effect.

plaid floor tile for boys' bathroom
Think plaid! This floor is wild. I’ve seen many a mosaic-tiled floor, but never in plaid. Regardless, it’s fun, playful and surely unique. Why not? More: Browse the most popular bathroom photos on Houzz now
Or, lay your tiles in a plaid pattern. This powder room takes on an entirely new personality
create a plaid floor was nothing short of a genius. The intricacy of the design combined with the furniture-turned-vanity catapults this two-piece bath into the ivy leagues.

Plaid goes modern in this stylish living room.
Plaid with leopard sofa and union jacks?
this is the plaid i want
I love how the modern design in this room makes this traditional plaid look fresh and modern.
old-school red plaid is such a surprise in this sleek room. It's so eye-catching and unexpected.
Here the designer is so confident in the combo that she amped up the violet with gloss and the red with plaid.
Scotland, plaid and tartan actually originated in ancient Britain. This flash of old-school red plaid in such a modern setting is a suprising tribute to a timeless British textile.
Bold red plaid makes a statement in this modern room with soaring ceilings. The pattern packs extra punch because it is set against a ground of white carpeting and a background of glossy blue walls.

getting closer. I think the mood is"hunt" but cannot do outright plaids...
sofa, plaid chairs, leather ottomans and antler trophies. A beautiful Federal mirror flanked with pheasants on either side, is a nice focal point for this cozy room. The aviary art work and deer accessories complete the look. I think I see a glass of Blanton's on the rocks in the foreground.
velvet, plaid, leather, books and a warm throw. The paneled walls just dial the coziness factor up another notch.

for the Plaid! I really like overstuffed chairs and wingback chairs, but this plaid is too boring
Go mad for plaid. When it comes to upping the cozy factor, you can never go wrong with plaid, especially on overstuffed chairs.
dont care for the plaid furniture but love the horse portraits!
Love the mix of plaid with the rug. It works because the colors on both the rug and the chairs are the same colors
These plaid chairs scream "read the paper here" first thing in the morning, and "have a scotch!" at cocktail hour.

I like the plaid cushion on the bench seats

The key to mixing patterns is to pay attention to the scale and palette — too many large-scale prints will overwhelm each
