I like this alot. Window, cabinets (minus the beadboard). Possibly prefer chrome fixtures, but overall look is nice.

And I have not seen top loaders outside the US since the 70's. Perhaps it was the front loader you were using. Or perhaps just "to each his own"/ preference :)
