The brick wall is part of the building structure, which pre-existing our landscaping improvements. However, I can tell you that the brick is "used brick", or red brick that has been salvaged from past costruction and re-used. This
texture, remaining surface mortar and the varied coloration of the brick surfaces (depending upon their prior installation of being exposed or mortared in place. The joints are a combination of "flush" and "extruded" joints for the purposes of achieve a very rustic or "old age" appearance.

Is brick whitewashed and if so, how was it done?

The brick you see here was a part of the original home - we did not build it so I do not know the exact name. When we added the addition onto the home our team hand painted the new bricks to perfectly match.
What technique was used to paint the brick? Our home has dull brown brick and we want to
your brick. That would be a knock down! I used it on foundation and outdoor FP new construction. Sorry, no photos yet.
