the vent/hood system in this kitchen?
accent you have added. We offer a similar tile: http://www.edenmosaictile.com/
That is not a appliance brand downdraft and must have been specially designed and made. That is a wolf range and like most pro ranges they do not suggest down venting. This looks like a really smart way of achieving the best of both. I've been in appliance sales and service
Thanks...have you had feedback from the owners on how it pulls down from the burners in the front of the stove that are away from the downdraft. We currently have a Jenn-air that really only grabs about 50% of the smoke. We are going to a Wolf and are not wild about an overhead island fan. This looks like

lot and have been searching for something similar for my new kitchen island. thanks!
Please let me know if this kitchen has a gas stove without a vent or fan. For some reason, I thought that was required.....am I wrong about that b/c I love the storage, instead.
don't have to sit as close together
stores have had a deep inventory of vintage card catalog cabinets, just waiting for clever homeowners to repurpose them at home. With so many kitchens looking like one another these days, it's neat to have a piece like this that stands out.
Love the range! Who makes it?
What type of hood is this? It's neat!
is the hood? and who makes it?
95% certain that's the Elica "Splendore" model. It's not "Ola", since "Ola" has an uneven bottom edge, and it's too small to be "Twin". That being said, here's a bit of advice: Even though they're very beaufitul, Elica hoods suffer from 3 major
AND you have to purchase carbon filters on a regular basis. 3.) They're typically overpriced for their size & feature set. If you don't cook on a regular basis, a 300/350-CFM recirculating range hood is an OK choice. However, if you DO need powerful ventilation as well as looks, make sure you choose a
a range hood in the 600-1000 CFM range. (More than 1000 CFM is often not recommended, due to negative pressure issues and make-up air requirements in many locations).

you I have a cabinet guy who has a copy of these cabinets..He is not one bit put out about doing this, at first i was going to go with faux and he really did not want to to that!..will see, he has not called me to look at any finishes yet:( but with the holidays been only a few weeks.
We must have had 12-15 samples before the final one was approved. Best I can tell you is a white painted finish with a light taupe-gray wash that was left to accumulate in the crevices. If you are in the Phoenix area, I can provide the name of the shop so you can get an estimate from them. Thanks for
Cabinets but need to be white, surround stove hood cabinets,

kind of range and vent are those? Love the clean lines!
much. I have always loved the Fisher and Paykel designs, and wonder if anyone has had any experience with their ranges?
The range is a 24" wide dual fuel by Fisher Paykel and the hood is by Faber.
anything. We have had it on our ceiling for 30 yrs. and it still looks great, just a bit darker, more the color ot the beam you see in the upper right corner of the photo. We also have it in our cabin. A warm, yet modern look, and it keeps the sound from bouncing around so much with the high ceilings.
The 24" range is by Fisher Paykel. I love it.
shelf at hood height since we don't have window
next to range hood - no cabinets
served by having an extra-large window above the sink and stretching across the countertop.

would like to know what make is the stove and what other features does it have
that I have ever seen!! Can you please tell me what the countertops are? Thank you!!
stunning. I have been considering white marble like this but as I love to cook indian food I am worried that yellow tumeric powder will stain the marble! Does anyone have any views on this?
yes, would like to know where I can get a hood like this please. 60" thanks
Shelf above cook top and hood.
interesting vent hood - sure super $$$$
for a range top? Electric versus gas oven? A. Open gas burners over electric for sure. I love to see the heat as opposed to a dial telling me how hot it is. Electric ovens over gas — a more even heat that is great for baking and roasting.Q. What one extra kitchen cooking gadget would you suggest for

did you have it stained after installation, or is it prefinished? If so, where can I find it? Is it an oil finish? or wax oil? Thanks.
Aantique have you had any problems with chipping because of all the veins in the slab ??what should I look for because I was considering brown antique??
If those white cabinets have a catalyzed, factory finish, all you have to do is wipe them down with a dilute solution of detergent and water from time
cabinets not pulls. Built in hood
did not have the space for all of them to gather at the same time. The addition to the home was done with architectural details that tied in with the decor of the existing home and flowed in such a way that the addition seems to have been part of the original structure. It appears that there is a cabinet door on the inside of the enclosed range hood. Is this a functional door? What is stored in there?
I like the simplicity of the hood. Is that a small cabinet to the left of the stove? It ties in nicely with the beams.
space? I have the exact same layout and like the way this is laid out. Someone in another post mentioned it being an awkward layout but I don't seem to see that point if view.
