contractor insists that the ledge on the pass through be an eased edge. He says this is "standard" for pass throughs. I think they should match. Thoughts?

One of the things that has puzzled me about the install of a "plain edge" linear drain (ie not as a primary drain, but as a glorified strainer) is
build up (John suggested cutting a tile into quarters then setting factory edges together to assessing crowning), to be sure of the size of the final wall
