Which stain did you use on interior doors, the floor color, trim color, or railing color? Thanks for your help.
Love the ipe Floor...what is the width of the planks ?
Hi, Thanks for your question about the IPE flooring at the Port Ludlow house. The width of the planks in the house was about 3"-4".

I love the light and dark of the walls and floor! Is it concrete or a tile?
The floor and walls are a cut marble tile. I'm sorry I don't have the spec for it.

Are the floors wood or laminate? What is the color?
white woodwork on the ceiling and the floors. I like how clean everything looks. Love the chairs too!

how do dark floors affect decor options?
is the wall made of concrete?
the walls are simple white, quite cold, the floor is a caffe brown, and the wall of the bed is a powder blu, made with a natural plaster, colored with heart powder
I think of flooring like another wall! So if you have the flooring a dark color, your decor options still are vast, you just need to consider the dark color as part of your palette of colors for the room. A dark floor also grounds the floor visually, so consider lighter colors
In theory, LOVE this minimalist look. But mostly because of the concrete floors. They are EPIC

Where can I find the floor lamp shown in this picture adjacent to the sectional? Thanks.

What type of flooring is in the hallway?
Do you know the brand of flooring? I want this look in addition
I'm considering the purchase of a home that has hardwood floors, tongue and grove walls and ceilings. I love the house but to much wood. Any inexpensive ideas ??? Pics would be great
down, take a look at whats going on in tile. Im inspired every day. But it can get pricy. If cost is a concern, think about painting your hardwood floors. A high gloss paint can give a surprisingly contemporary and clean result. Just make sure you seal it thoroughly w several coats. Added benefit:
The tiles are limestone slab material from a local quarry in Canada, so no brand is associated; the wood flooring is oak planks purchased in Canada, brand unknown. Sorry there's no more info on that.
