g Blanket FlowerIf you want a long-blooming perennial, blanket flower is a top choice. It begins flowering early in the summer and lasts until the frosty weather. During that time flowers in mixes of yellow, orange, red and maroon will attract butterflies. Blanket flower can handle both heat and wind

I'm making a whimsical children's garden in my backyard, and this would be such a fun addition. Thanks in advance for your reply.
It is made to go on the end of a hose but we "hard-piped" it and put it on an automatic sprinkler valve. The kids run around in it too --- if you time it right, you can run around it and stay dry or you can run around it and get soaking wet. I used to buy these from an artist in Illinois --- but he's
through a sprinkler. The gentle “shh” of a sprinkler is an iconic summer sound — and few experiences better sum up simple summer pleasures than running through one in a bathing suit on a hot summer day. On the first really hot day of summer, embrace your inner kid and go for it. Follow it with an icy Popsicle

the back of the same house reveals the explosion of additions and changes this house has undergone. It's as if the house grew organically over time to accommodate some pressing need of its inhabitants. Maybe a new screened porch to enjoy the summer weather. Maybe a new kitchen and family room wing
